Browse session history

Enable history before a recording or file transcription to revisit results and compare raw text with successful cleanup. Your latest Current result and failed-insertion recovery are available even with history off.

  1. Open History from the activity rail, then History settings to enable retention before the run you want to keep.
  2. Dictate or transcribe a file. Entries that fit the retention limits appear in the History sidebar and the bottom panel’s Recent tab.
  3. Search or filter. Search transcript text or an audio file’s name; filter by All, Voice, or Audio files.
  4. Select an entry to read it in the main area. Choose Copy, or Listen when speech is enabled.

Search includes final, raw, and cleaned text already in memory. It does not search recordings on disk or recover earlier sessions. Filtering does not change retention.

Choose Compare on an entry with both versions. Each version has its own copy control. If cleanup failed, the raw transcript shows the failure explanation.

Retaining both versions after successful cleanup requires history to have been enabled before the run and the text to fit its limits. Raw fallback after a cleanup failure works without history.

History keeps limited run details, not credentials, request headers, full file paths, or destination identities. Removing an entry also removes its details; an open details window does not keep another copy.

Use the left-sidebar button to open the transcript list over the current page. Details opens a right overlay at narrower widths. On wider windows it opens automatically when you enter History; X keeps it hidden for that visit.

The Recent bottom-panel tab is also available in workflows, Connections, Local runtime, and History. Its newest transcript opens automatically; select older entries to expand them. Transcription details in an entry’s action menu opens the separate details window.
